The site's rules, in plain language.

These terms govern the use of the public site and what it offers free of charge. Our mandates are governed by a signed service agreement instead.

  1. 01

    Acceptance

By using convexys.com, you accept these terms. If they do not suit you, do not use the site.

  2. 02

What the site is, and what it is not

The site presents our offer, our method, and content written for manufacturing SMEs. It is provided for information.

Nothing on this site (pages, free guide, self-assessment) constitutes professional, legal, accounting, or engineering advice applicable to your particular situation. The gains, timelines, and amounts mentioned are orders of magnitude observed elsewhere, not a promise of results in your plant.

No page of the site creates a contract or a mandate. A mandate begins only with a written service agreement.

  3. 03

    Permitted use

You may read the site, share it, and use our free content within your own business.

    • Do not attempt to reach non-public parts of the site or its systems.
    • Do not extract the content in bulk through automated means.
    • Do not use the forms to send unlawful, misleading, or unsolicited content.
    • Do not present our content as your own, and do not resell it.
  4. 04

    Intellectual property

The texts, the method, the page structure, the free guide, and the visual elements of the site belong to Convexys, unless stated otherwise.

The free guide is given to you for internal use within your business. You may share it with your employees; you may not sell it, publish it, or present it as your own tool.

Deliverables produced inside a mandate belong to you under the terms of the service agreement, and that agreement prevails over this section.

  5. 05

Forms, booking, and the free guide

By filling in a form, you undertake to provide accurate information and not to use someone else's identity.

Do not send confidential company information through the site's forms: they are not built for it. Sensitive exchanges take place inside a mandate, under agreement.

Booking a call commits neither you nor us beyond the call itself. Either side may cancel or reschedule it.

We may stop responding to a request that is plainly abusive or off-topic.

  6. 06

    Third-party links and services

The site relies on third-party services (hosting, form routing, the booking tool, analytics) and may link to sites we do not operate.

We control neither the content nor the practices of those third parties and are not responsible for them. Their own terms apply when you use them.

  7. 07

    Site availability

We make a reasonable effort to keep the site available and current, without guaranteeing that it is error-free or accessible at all times.

We may change, suspend, or withdraw a page or a feature at any time, without notice.

  8. 08

    Limitation of liability

The site and its free content are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

To the extent permitted by law, Convexys cannot be held liable for indirect damages, or for lost profits, data, or production arising from the use of the site or from decisions taken on the strength of its content.

This limitation does not apply to our obligations inside a mandate: those are defined by the corresponding service agreement.

  9. 09

    Privacy

The handling of personal information collected through the site is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

  10. 10

    Changes

We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, on the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

  11. 11

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada. Any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.
